Kevin Hon
Kevin Hon is the visionary founder of Shielder Hong Kong Limited and has been a prominent figure in the fire services field since 2005. Throughout his career, he has contributed to groundbreaking innovations in Hong Kong's fire protection systems. His achievements include leading the implementation of the first NOVEC 1230 clean agent system and introducing the first corrosion-inhibiting system using high-purity nitrogen gas for pre-action sprinkler piping in the region.
Kevin also played a pivotal role in deploying early warning smoke detection systems in Hong Kong’s tallest building and pioneering the first Li-ion battery detection and water mist system in the city. Beyond his technical expertise, Kevin exemplifies leadership through his integrity and objectivity, ensuring excellence in serving data centre fire services.
Kevin’s guiding philosophy is encapsulated in his inspiring motto: “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” His dedication, vision, and innovative mindset drive Shielder Hong Kong Limited to consistently exceed industry standards.
